Scheme is a collection of checks and settings that is used to detect captioning issues in a media file. In simple words, a scheme is a checklist of various parameters, termed as checks, where you can set criteria for QC and to define settings for caption and subtitle generation.
You can create a scheme in Captions using the SCHEMES interface. The Scheme interface provides various scheme items, scheme settings, and some common settings. The scheme items and settings are available in the scheme based on the selected scheme type. Captions provide the following scheme types:
- Quality Check & Correction: This scheme type is used for verifying media content to detect issues in the caption text and correcting the issues, wherever applicable.
- Captioning: This scheme type is used to generate caption and subtitles for a file.
Once a scheme is created, Captions lets you customize the available scheme items and scheme settings, as per your requirements. Additionally, you can export an existing scheme from your storage and distribute or share it with other users. Similarly, you can import new schemes created and shared by other users.
